Democratization of next generation of sequencing generates an exponential amount of sequences that need to be analyzed at the high speed. This requires a high skill in programming, data analysis and visualization and a powerful computing platform. To this end BC CAHS acquired a Linux Server with high capacity to analysis important amount of sequence data at high throughput speed. The focus of next generation sequence data is on the analysis of genomic data that can provide solutions to the increase of emergent fish diseases.

We help fish health professionals, veterinarians, pharmaceutical companies and governmental decision makers in providing genomic sound information to monitor fish health. We provide advice in experiment design, technical testing and high throughput data analysis.
